 If for some reason you have a chip read and need to determine where it is registered, the [[https://www.aaha.org/for-veterinary-professionals/microchip-search/|AAHA chip meta registry]] can look up the chip number and tell you which registry has the info. The registries won't typically give out contact information except to participating veterinarians and animal control, but at least you are a step closer. This can help if you need to change the registration info on your own pet but can't remember which company has the registration for your chip. You can then contact the correct registry and try to update the chip info.
